His advertising and marketing background with a large Kansas City advertising agency and as Director of Advertising for a major Lake Resort, gave him a strong base for his real estate career.   For the last twenty-two years he has been a multi-million dollar producer and has earned annual sales awards from the Missouri Association of REALTORS and Bagnell Dam Association of REALTORS.   His work with the Bagnell Dam Association of REALTORS includes nine years as a member of the Board of Directors, nine years as Chairperson of the PARADE OF HOMES Committee and the Public Relations Committee, as well as, several years on special ad hoc committees.   In 1997, he was voted REALTOR of the Year and also received the Presidents Award for his volunteer work performed for the community and the association throughout that year. In 2000, he was appointed to serve on the statewide PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS and the statewide ARBITRATION committees. He continues to serve on these committees today. He has served as a Missouri Association of REALTOR State Director for six years, including several committee appointments. In 2002, he served as Vice-chair of the Licensee Law Committee for the state and served as Chairperson in 2003. He also served on the Strategic Planning Committee for the state, as well as, the 2003 Plan of Action Committee, both positions were appointed by the upcoming M.A.R. President. His involvement in the local community includes six years as a Chairman of the Board for Citizens Against Domestic Violence, seven years as Board of Director for the First Bank of the Lake, six years working on Easter Seals Telethon and three years as the Presenting Sponsor for the March of Dimes Chefs Auction.
